A1 Garage is seeking an Area Manager to lead and grow the Cincinnati market, overseeing 40 field staff including branch managers and technicians. You will coach performance, recruit, and ensure successful execution of the company's Vision and Mission.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, coaching for performance, and strong collaboration with HR and operations to drive customer satisfaction and business growth in the Ohio region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial leadership experience
• Experience training and coaching teams
• Familiarity with CRM systems and field operations

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide up to 40 field employees including branch managers and technicians
• Provide weekly 1:1 coaching and performance guidance
• Recruit, interview and onboard staff with HR collaboration
• Develop apprentices into technicians and lead career progression
• Monitor budgets, expenses and P&L; manage fleet with Fleet team
• Attend home and trade shows and engage with customers
• Manage reviews and escalate customer issues
• Schedule and supervise field operations and ride-alongs
• Travel to job sites for quality audits
• Ensure payroll accuracy and timecard verification
• Support operations to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
• Collaborate with People Operations to maintain morale and retention
• All other duties as assigned
