Job summary
The State of Connecticut, Department of Administrative Services is seeking a Customer Identity and Access Management Specialist (Information Technology Analyst 1) to strengthen our CIAM capabilities in Hartford. You will help design, implement, and support secure identity solutions for residents, businesses, and employees.
Join the Enterprise Architecture and Strategy team within BITS and work on modern authentication methods, including passwordless options, SSO, and scalable IAM environments
Qualifications
- Five years of IT operations support or related IT experience.
- Two years in basic technical support functions such as help desk, hardware/software maintenance.
- College training substitutions allowed; Bachelor's preferred.
- Experience deploying ForgeRock IAM for external users preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level CIAM platform support (ForgeRock).
- Onboard applications with CIAM integration (SAML/OAuth/OIDC).
- Monitor CIAM health and related Azure/Kubernetes services.
- Configure and maintain IAM Kubernetes clusters and cloud services.
- Assist in infrastructure upgrades and change management.
- Handle help desk tickets related to identity access and CIAM integrations.
