Job summary

The Department of Administrative Services in Hartford, CT, seeks a Customer Identity and Access Management Specialist (Information Technology Analyst 1) to provide day-to-day technical support and engineering services for Connecticut's enterprise CIAM platform. Hybrid work is available within the Enterprise Architecture and Strategy team.

Responsibilities include supporting identity integrations (SAML, OAuth/OIDC), monitoring Azure-based infrastructure, and collaborating with IT peers to resolve

Qualifications

• First-level support for CIAM platforms (ForgeRock) and identity integrations including SAML 2.0, OAuth/OIDC, and Identity Gateway configurations.
• Monitoring and maintaining cloud infrastructure including Azure-based tools, Kubernetes clusters, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, and Log Analytics.
• Troubleshooting and resolving identity-related technical issues and managing help desk tickets related to authentication and CIAM integrations.
• Collaborating with IT peers, application developers, and end users to diagnose and resolve access issues.
• Participating in infrastructure upgrades, disaster recovery exercises, and modernization efforts following established change management procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for the enterprise CIAM platform.
• Assist in engineering services for identity integrations across agency applications.
• Support passwordless authentication initiatives and emerging identity technologies.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure reliable and secure identity services.
