Job summary

STATE STREET CORPORATION is seeking an IAM Engineering Manager for CIAM in New Jersey. This hands-on technical leadership role focuses on security, identity governance, and automation, driving lifecycle management across IGA with ForgeRock.

You will guide engineering projects, optimize processes, and mentor junior engineers to deliver scalable IAM solutions that align with corporate standards. You’ll collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to ensure seamless integration of IAM across

Qualifications

Strong IAM principles including provisioning, de-provisioning, RBAC, and least privilege.
Proven leadership and people management to build high-performing teams.
Familiarity with SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP/AD.
Experience with REST APIs, SCIM, and system-to-system authentication.
Cloud experience with Azure and AWS in hybrid identities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to lead initiatives without direct authority.
ForgeRock and/or AWS certifications preferred.
Experience with Okta, CyberArk, Ping.
Knowledge of SOX, HIPAA, GDPR compliance.

Responsibilities

Manage lifecycle management integrations for Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), leveraging ForgeRock.
Plan, design, and execute IAM projects to achieve program objectives (provisioning, deprovisioning, RBAC, access reviews).
Design and implement IAM solutions aligned with security standards; develop accelerators for automation.
Identify opportunities for process optimization to improve service delivery and scalability.
Analyze IAM system issues and provide robust engineering solutions for reliability.
Conduct root-cause analyses and implement prevention measures.
Collaborate with IT, security, and business units to extend IAM control solutions enterprise-wide.
Work with application teams to align IAM strategies with initiatives.
Monitor IAM operations for SOP compliance and performance.
Provide mentorship to junior engineers and foster innovation.
Research emerging IAM trends and drive continuous improvement.
Create architecture diagrams, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
