Job summary

Farm Credit East seeks a Customer Identity and Access Management Specialist to own CIAM delivery, identity lifecycle, and fine-grained authorization. You will collaborate with portal, CRM, and integration teams to ensure secure access, privacy, and resilient authentication across customer-facing apps.

You’ll lead requirements for signup, MFA, linking, and recovery, while balancing security with usability and regulatory considerations. Hybrid work options apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, cybersecurity, CS or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of IAM/CIAM, application security, digital identity, authorization engineering, or secure app integration experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering customer authentication or fine-grained authorization for customer-facing apps.
• Financial-services or other regulated industry experience preferred.
• CIAM, CISSP, CSSLP, CCSP, Microsoft identity, Okta/Auth0 or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Hybrid work options after two weeks of employment with Farm Credit East; balanced with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements for customer signup, login, MFA, account recovery, linking, identity proofing touchpoints, and session handling.
• Define identity sources, identifiers, correlation, linking, lifecycle states and authorization dependencies.
• Translate journeys and acceptance criteria into CIAM requirements and managed delivery backlog.
• Collaborate with digital portal, Salesforce FSC, nCino, integration, data, privacy, fraud, and apps teams to embed secure access.
• Balance security, privacy, accessibility, and user experience in authentication and recovery controls.
• Provide governance for CIAM and FGA environments, models, APIs, and onboarding.
