Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer / OPEX for the Greenwood, SC facility. Relocation assistance is offered for U.S. residents.

The role provides broad continuous improvement support to manufacturing operations and plant maintenance with complex project responsibilities within Operational Excellence. The position offers an annual salary range of $71,000 to $105,000 and eligibility for a variable incentive program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
• Relocation to Greenwood, SC; relocation assistance offered.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of manufacturing, fabrication and assembly processes.
• Develop and implement improvements to manufacturing procedures and processes.
• Train factory operators in the use of equipment, tooling and procedures.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee changes and upgrades to the manufacturing facility.
• Lead events such as Shop Floor and Rapid Improvement Events to achieve cost-out targets.
• Determine optimal manufacturing methods for parts and assemblies for new products or customer orders.
• Conduct line capacity analysis and lead labor productivity improvement initiatives.
• Specify, design, quote, install, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
• Support MES implementations and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
