Job summary

ProAmpac Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement professional to lead Lean projects in a manufacturing environment.

You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency on the floor, conduct time studies, validate SOPs, and report improvements up to the General Manager. The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in CI, strong analytical and communication skills, and Lean/Six Sigma proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years in Continuous Improvement in manufacturing.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication to work with operations personnel at all levels.
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• General knowledge of manufacturing, including product quality standards.
• Must manage multiple ongoing projects alongside day-to-day process problems.
• Overcome obstacles with positivity in face of challenges.
• Solid computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Flexo packaging experience is a plus but not required.
• Lean/Six Sigma Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uphold a genuine regard for safety and ensure employees follow safety guidelines.
• Drive continuous improvement by time studies, SOP validation, and floor conversations.
• Lead projects by gathering information, setting goals and deadlines, and reporting improvements to all employees.
• Align with the General Manager on project priority and provide regular updates.
• Audit quality, safety, and environmental housekeeping procedures.
• Be flexible to support a 24/7 operation.
• Be highly organized and self-directed with ability to prioritize projects.
• Apply analytical and critical thinking to absorb new procedures and industry advancements.
