Job summary

ProAmpac in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead Lean manufacturing projects, drive efficiency, and improve quality across our Catoosa area operations. You will apply Six Sigma, Kaizen events, and data-driven methods to reduce waste and increase uptime.

You will collaborate across teams, train staff, and establish KPIs while maintaining safety and GMP compliance in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years leading Lean manufacturing activities.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Minitab, databases, and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize process improvements that increase efficiency, improve quality, and reduce costs.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and Kaizen events with management and hourly employees.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies and statistical process control to improve yield, uptime, throughput, and process utilization.
• Analyze operational data and establish KPIs to measure performance, track improvement results, and identify additional opportunities.
• Perform root cause analysis and partner with Quality and Operations to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Reduce waste, rework, production costs, setup and changeover times, and cycle times.
• Train and engage employees in continuous improvement practices and establish controls to sustain improvements.
