Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead and support the deployment of a strategic plan that drives customer satisfaction through efficient production of high-quality products. You will promote CI frameworks, work with facilities to understand operations, and provide hands-on technical leadership to improve standards.

Salary range is $80,000 - $100,000 based on experience. The role requires significant travel and collaboration with enterprise leadership, BU and facilities

Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma certification highly desired.
• Familiarity with ISO/SQF.
• Strong statistical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on leadership and coaching capabilities.
• Significant travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, adopt, and diffuse manufacturing best practices across operations and drive accountability at all levels.
• Support facility managers to reduce waste, decrease changeover times, reduce inventory, improve quality, root cause analyses and problem solving, and develop workforce capabilities.
• Lead change and model desirable behaviors to set an example for others to follow.
• Prioritize improvements to help businesses achieve budgeted savings through process improvements.
• Promote strategies and best practices to accelerate transformation to a quality and continuous improvement culture.
• Balance quality, productivity, and safety to achieve positive results.
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders to understand and reconcile requirements.
• Facilitate peer networking among the quality/CI managers.
• Implement audits for CI systems.
• Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following regulations and reporting hazards.
• Other duties as assigned.
