Job summary

Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Maple Grove, MN seeks a part-time Kitchen Manager to oversee the food service functions for church events, services, and community occasions. Qualifications

• Experience in commercial food service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage kitchen operations and food safety; maintain supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate event food for funerals, special events, fundraising, Sunday coffee and donuts, and Lenten/Soup Suppers.
• Handle administrative tasks related to the kitchen, including tracking, billing and coding expenses; work with vendors.
• Recruit, coordinate, and train volunteers and staff in proper food handling procedures.
• Create a positive guest experience for all attendees.
