Qualifications

• 2+ years of food service, hospitality, or related experience.
• Current Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certification.
• Knowledge of local health department regulations and food safety standards.
• Alignment with Grace Community Church’s theology and ministry philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Steward the church kitchen and support events and hospitality efforts.
• Develop and maintain kitchen policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and CFPM protocols.
• Train and equip staff and volunteers in food handling and kitchen safety.
• Recruit, train, and lead kitchen volunteers and leaders.
• Coordinate kitchen scheduling and usage requests.
• Communicate expectations to ministry leaders and event coordinators.
• Oversee inventory, purchasing, labeling, and storage of kitchen resources.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and preventative service.
• Provide event support in partnership with ministry teams.
