Job summary

Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee food service and hospitality for ministry events and services. You will lead a team to prepare, serve, and present meals safely and with excellence, coordinating with vendors and staff to staff each event to specification.

The role requires managing a kitchen team, coordinating both in-house and external caterers, and ensuring SOPs and ServSafe standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Two years of food service management or leadership over 20+ people.
• Food service experience serving larger groups over 50 people.
• Knowledge and experience managing a large budget and expense tracking.
• Basic computer skills to complete reports and maintain inventories.

Responsibilities

• Provides the highest level of hospitality to all visitors, members, and guests.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for Hospitality Ministry activities and services.
• Works with COCP and bereaved families to provide a repass including food and beverage.
• Reviews and approves all caterer contracts and ensures ServSafe certification.
