Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the FM group and ensure the reliable operation of meetinghouse facilities. You will oversee safety programs, regulatory compliance, and the timely completion of work orders while coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.

You will manage budgets, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvements, with a focus on staff development and training within the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-year degree in facilities management or related field.
• 8 years of facilities management experience.
• 4 years in a leadership role leading others.
• FMP certification required or within 1 year of hire.
• Proven ability to manage vendors and meet KPI targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct FM group in completing emergency and routine work orders.
• Own accountability for KPI performance on timeliness, cost, quality, and self-performance.
• Identify and manage vendors, and coordinate their work with operations.
• Oversee budget and relationships with Operations Manager and Vendor Management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate facility inspections with local and state agencies.
• Lead weekly FM group meetings and training within the team.
