Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year degree in facilities management or related field.
• Six years' experience in facilities management; ten years total with education.
• Broad understanding of facilities systems (boilers, electrical, AV, plumbing).
• Excellent verbal and written communication and computer literacy.
• Ability to speak and write in English.
• Professional appearance and demeanor; physically able to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership to department staff for 1 temple and up to 4 smaller temples.
• Manage capital expenditure projects for facilities, systems and grounds; inspections, reporting, and compliance.
• Liaise with local government and coordinate permits, timelines and deliveries.
• Regularly manage the work of other employees; supervise a mixed workforce as needed.
• Maintain temple and ancillary buildings across ~70k square feet; ensure standards.
• Oversee department labor costs and third-party relationships; manage budgets.
