Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking a facilities planning professional to help design and manage long‑term master plans for church meetinghouses and related properties. This role supports temporal affairs and coordinates with area leadership to forecast budgets and schedules for future site acquisitions and constructions.

You will guide planning decisions, work with ecclesiastical leaders, and supervise a team of staff and missionaries to deliver practical, cost-aware

Qualifications

B.S. degree with 10 years in planning, management, finance or related discipline.
MBA or equivalent preferred.
Exposure to multiple business functions and ability to perform detailed analyses.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Effective negotiation and presentation abilities.
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and presentations.
Travel within the area as needed.

Responsibilities

Analyze current and future facility needs across the Area and develop master plans, budgets, schedules, and real estate timelines.
Develop and validate planning decisions with ecclesiastical leaders and stakeholders.
Lead a team of employees and missionaries to address planning challenges with cost-effective solutions.
Coordinate with Global Meetinghouse Planning to ensure standards and local adaptations.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
