Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. The role includes patient evaluation, custom splinting, and developing recovery plans in a multidisciplinary setting.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, hold a state PT or OT license, and preferably have a Doctorate in PT or OT with a CHT credential and CPR/BLS certification. At least 3 years in upper-extremity rehab is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab and outpatient therapy experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients and establish plans of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability.
• Document delivery of therapy services.
• Direct and supervise OTAs, students and support staff.
• Design and fit custom hand/upper-extremity orthoses and splints.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat post-surgical and injury rehabilitation cases.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and case discussions.
