Job summary

Ghirardelli is seeking a Supervisor to lead store operations in our San Francisco location. You will help deliver exceptional customer service, manage daily store activities, and work with the general manager to maximize profitability.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating with corporate and vendors, ensuring safety and food safety standards, and maintaining brand guidelines. A high school diploma or GED is preferred and prior supervisory experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Clear, professional, effective oral and written communication.

• Time management and self-direction with minimal supervision.
• Ability to conduct evidence-based sales and resource forecasting.
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, such as MICROS.

Responsibilities

• Ensure well-being of store and employees through safety and risk management.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization per company standards.
• Collaborate with store personnel, general manager and corporate liaisons (HR/IT/Finance/Payroll).
• Prioritize daily store activities under the direction of the general manager.
• Manage operations of sales floor and support areas to maximize profitability while maintaining customer service.
• Serve as main contact with Corporate and vendors when managers are absent.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and branding; monitor allergen communications.
• Use MICROS system and related functionality.
