Job summary

NSA’s linguists, MDLAs, are tasked with analyzing foreign language materials, translating and transcribing to support SIGINT missions. The LADP offers up to three years of training with multiple operational tours across offices.

Position emphasizes ILR 2/2 in Chinese, strong writing and oral communication, and the ability to collaborate with partners across the Intelligence Community while working independently.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for Chinese
• Bachelor's degree with relevant experience or higher
• Experience in translation, transcription, analysis, or related language work
• Experience in leadership or mentoring is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key information for policymakers and analysts.
• Engage with partners, enablers, and customers across the Intelligence Community.
• Support LADP or direct hire into analytic mission offices with varied operational tours.
• Prepare written assessments and reports for SIGINT missions.
• Collaborate with NSA and Intelligence Community analysts as needed.
• Work independently while coordinating with partners and customers.
