Job summary

NSA is seeking multilingual Language Analysts (MDLAs) to support SIGINT missions across the NSA Enterprise. The LADP option offers intensive training with multiple operational tours and classroom instruction, while direct hire is possible for experienced candidates.

Applicants must demonstrate ILR 2/2 proficiency in reading and listening and reflect language expertise in Chinese. Successful candidates will engage with partners, mentors, and customers, applying innovative analysis to large data

Qualifications

• Minimum language proficiency: ILR level 2/2 reading and listening in target language.
• Degree acceptable in any field; multiple pathways to LADP or direct hire.
• Experience in professional language work or related fields such as intelligence, journalism, cybersecurity, or STEM is considered.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate foreign language materials for SIGINT mission.
• Engage with partners and customers across the Intelligence Community to solve analytic problems.
• Possess leadership, mentoring, and SME capabilities in language analysis.
