Job summary

La Frontera Center Inc. is seeking a Children's Rapid Response Therapist to join EMPACT-SPC's Crisis team in Tempe, AZ.

The clinician will perform a one-time in-depth assessment for children referred by child safety or courts, including developmental screening for ages 0-5 and risk assessment, with crisis intervention as needed. The role requires a Master's in Behavioral Health, bi-lingual (Spanish), AZ driver's license, fingerprint clearance, and strong time management, with shifts including

Qualifications

Master's degree in behavioral health required.
Experience with children in child safety or AZ behavioral health system preferred.
Knowledge of the RBHA system preferred.
Fingerprint clearance card or eligibility required.
AZ driver license with no major infractions in past 3 years.
Regular access to reliable transportation.
Bi-lingual (Spanish)
Must be 21 years or older at time of employment.

Responsibilities

Perform a one-time thorough clinical assessment for a child referred by child safety or juvenile courts.
Include developmental screening for 0-5 age children and review of the home environment.
Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments.
Coordinate referrals to community partners for long-term supports.
Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner and coordinate with courts.
Open to working days, nights, and weekends.
