Job summary

Chambliss Center for Children is seeking a part-time childcare assistant for afternoon shifts. The role involves supervising and engaging children, assisting teachers, and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment. No prior childcare experience is required, but reliability and a caring attitude are essential.

The position runs Monday–Friday with hours either 2:00–6:00 p.m. or 1:00–5:30 p.m. Pay starts at $11 with HS diploma, $13 with an ECE certificate, and up to $15 with an associate degree.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass a fingerprint background check.
• Reliable, friendly, patient, and good with kids.
• Experience working with children in a group setting preferred but not required.

No childcare experience is required-We're looking for someone who is patient, compassionate, dependable, and genuinely enjoys helping children learn and grow.
