Job summary

Southwest Learning Centers is seeking a warm, reliable Classroom Assistant to support our childcare program. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with compensation of $18.00–$20.00 per hour in a friendly, team-oriented environment that values safety and positive learning.

You will assist lead teachers, promote age-appropriate activities, supervise children, and help with meals and transitions, while maintaining a clean, engaging classroom. Hours are 6 a.m.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for working with young children.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must meet Washington State childcare licensing requirements (or be willing to obtain)
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
