Job summary

Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is hiring a Child Welfare Case Manager to provide wrap-around case management for children and families, building relationships aligned with the agency’s values.

You will meet with children and parents, develop strength-based case plans, conduct home visits, and document progress in FSFN within 48 hours. The role includes coordinating court activities and community referrals.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of relevant experience and required certification within one year.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field; Social Work degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accept cases assigned by supervisor and meet with children within 2 working days.
• Develop and implement family case plans aiming for reunification or permanency.
• Conduct home visits as required and document in FSFN within 48 hours.
• Coordinate court-related activities and attend staffing as needed.
• Identify and refer families to community resources and maintain progress documentation.
• Attend mandatory trainings and on-call rotations as required.
• Ensure compliance with Florida statutes and agency policies.
