Job summary

Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is seeking a Child Welfare Case Manager to coordinate services for children in the dependency system across Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties. You will work with families, guardians, and an interdisciplinary team to create reunification-focused case plans and ensure safety and timely documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a Human Services field (Social Work preferred), at least one year of relevant experience, and willingness to obtain child

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field (or equivalent) is required.
• Social Work degree is preferred.
• Four years’ experience in lieu of degree is acceptable to meet education minimum.

Responsibilities

• Accept cases and conduct initial meetings with children and families within required timelines.
• Develop case plans in collaboration with families and other parties to support reunification or permanency goals.
• Document all case activities in FSFN within 48 hours and maintain organized electronic files.
• Attend court activities and prepare/complete necessary court documentation.
