Job summary

Our Community Our Kids in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Permanency Supervisor to lead a unit of caseworkers and clerical staff. The role emphasizes thorough documentation, individualized safety and service plans, and proactive decision-making on child safety and permanency.

You will interact with clients, judges, attorneys, and school personnel; oversee program planning, staff development, and compliance with agency policies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a human services field required.
• Professional licensure in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years' experience with Foster Care/Adoption/Kinship or conservatorship.
• Knowledge of program planning and implementation.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations related to child care, abuse, and neglect.
• Ability to supervise others and develop staff.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel locally and within the region.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high ethical standards per agency Code of Ethics.
• Lead and manage unit staff and supervise performance.
• Develop goals and implement strategies to achieve them.
• Interprets program policy to staff, clients, and stakeholders.
• Review and approve child placement decisions with interagency partners.
• Attend and participate in leadership and planning meetings.
• Promote cultural diversity and respectful relationships.
• Ensure documentation is thorough and concise.
