Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required.
• Minimum one year of leadership experience required.
• Minimum two years of experience in a licensed or registered childcare facility required.
• Current status on the Early Childhood Practitioner Registry required.
• Successful completion of Teacher Orientation ARM37.95.163 required.
• Sixty hours of infant/toddler and sixty hours of preschool coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership, coaching, and support to teachers and childcare staff.
• Foster a positive, collaborative culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and excellence.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management activities.
• Assist staff with classroom management, curriculum implementation, lesson planning, and developmental best practices.
• Build strong relationships with families through effective communication and responsive service.
• Support compliance efforts by maintaining staff credentials, training requirements, licensing documentation, and program standards.
• Participate in licensing reviews, audits, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Help analyze program outcomes and identify opportunities to enhance the child and family experience.
• Serve as a visible leader within the center and step into leadership responsibilities as needed in the Manager’s absence.
