Learning Care Group, Inc. seeks a Food Specialist to manage overall food preparation for the school’s enrolled children, tailoring home-style meals within menu and budget while meeting state and federal requirements.

You will prepare meals and snacks and serve them to children and staff. You will follow the Director's daily menu, ensuring USDA, licensing, and health department regulations are met, maintain inventory and order supplies, and assist in classrooms as needed as an Assistant

Qualifications

• Experience cooking for multiple individuals in a childcare facility.
• Willingness to learn and follow state/local regulations.
• Flexible hours and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and snacks in line with the school menu and budget.
• Follow USDA, licensing, and health department regulations.
• Maintain inventory and reorder supplies.
• Assist in classrooms as needed as an Assistant Teacher/Floater.
