Learning Care Group is hiring a Food Specialist to prepare meals for enrolled children and support classroom needs. You will create home-style, nutritious meals within the school's menu and budget while following USDA, licensing, and health department regulations.

Maintain inventory, order supplies, and assist in classrooms as needed. This role offers a Monday-Friday schedule with health insurance, paid time off, and education assistance for employees.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking/food prep for multiple individuals in a childcare facility preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to state/local regulations.
• Flexibility with hours and schedule.

Responsibilities

• At home in the kitchen—create home-style, nutritious meals within menu and budget.
• Follow the daily menu to meet USDA/licensing/health department rules.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Assist in classrooms as needed as an Assistant Teacher/Floater.
