You will follow the daily menu, ensure health and safety compliance, manage inventory, and assist in classrooms as needed. A passion for child-friendly, healthy meals and flexibility with scheduling are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking/food prep for groups in childcare preferred.
• Willingness to learn and follow state/local regulations.
• Flexibility with hours and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Create home-style, nutritious meals within menu and budget boundaries.
• Prepare meals and snacks for children and staff and distribute to classrooms.
• Follow daily menu with USDA/licensing/healthdept regulations.
• Maintain inventory and reorder supplies when needed.
• Assist in classrooms as needed as an Assistant Teacher/Floater.
