Learning Care Group is seeking a Food Specialist to prepare nutritious meals for enrolled children in a safe, organized kitchen. You will adapt to the school menu and budget while meeting state and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in cooking for groups in a childcare setting preferred.
• Willingness to learn and follow state/local regulations.
• Flexible with hours and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare home-style, nutritious meals and snacks per menu and budget.
• Follow daily menu incorporating regulations from USDA/licensing/health dept.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Assist in classrooms as needed as an Assistant Teacher/Floater.
