Job description

Child Care Teacher

Full-time positions are available with Infants.

Responsibilities:

  1. Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  2. Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  • 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool setting
  • CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable laws and policies concerning immunizations, physicals, and health and safety training. You will work in person at an early education/preschool child care center, providing supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services in accordance with Bright Horizons' policies and legal requirements to ensure children's safety.

Compensation:

The hourly rate ranges from $20.25 to $24.75, based on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors. The position is also eligible for a $500 Hiring Incentive payable after 100 days of employment.
