Child Care Teacher

Responsibilities:
  1. Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
  2. Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  • 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of professional experience teaching in a child care, daycare, or preschool setting.
  • CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or a related field.
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) for children.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable health and safety requirements, including immunizations, physicals, and training, in accordance with laws and regulations. You will work in person at an early education/preschool child care center, providing supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services per Bright Horizons’ policies, ensuring children's safety.

Compensation:

The hourly rate ranges from $20.25 to $24.75. Actual offers depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors. The position is also eligible for a $500 Hiring Incentive after 100 days of employment.
