Responsibilities

• Determines initial and ongoing eligibility for child care assistance programs.
• Gathers and verifies income, resources, and child care arrangements.
• Decides cases and issues notifications to clients per policy.
• Provides clear customer service and explains program rules to applicants.
• Educates clients about rights and responsibilities and available resources.
• connects clients to internal, community, or partner resources.
• Maintains accurate, timely records and files in electronic systems.
• Performs basic math for payment calculations and maintains workload within deadlines.
• Participates in meetings and collaborates with team and partners.
• Represents the department in community interactions and events.
• Engages in trainings to stay current with rules and systems.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
