Job summary

The Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) seeks a Community Associate to support the voucher childcare program in New York City. The role focuses on eligibility processing, intake, and documentation management to ensure timely certification and compliance with state regulations.

You will liaise with the Eligibility Team Leader, perform data entry, and help families access childcare subsidies while adhering to NYC rules and policies.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or related duties.
• Education and/or experience equivalent to the above.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with community based programs and providers for additional documentation to complete child care eligibility/recertification.
• Troubleshoot/respond to inquiries from social service Agencies/re: case status.
• Respond to requests from parents/providers/other interested individuals concerning eligibility and enrollment.
• Review case information and certify eligibility for the child care subsidy program.

Education
