Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; must be at least 18.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Promote positive relationships with children, youth, and coworkers.
• Physically able to lift up to 45 pounds and be outdoors/indoor.
• Able to complete Tier 1 background checks every 5 years.
• Able to pass Civilian Medical Clearance every 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Plans and executes early childhood education experiences with varied materials.
• Develops and implements age-appropriate curriculum with director/teachers.
• Creates an environment promoting positive interactions among children and adults.
• Leads planned activities for program participants and uses guidance techniques.
• Interacts with staff, parents, and the command to maintain quality care.
• Maintains participation data and completes daily reports.
