Bring your cooking talents and kitchen skills as an Assistant Cook at Bright Horizons. You’ll help plan menus, prepare meals, and manage inventory, making a positive impact on children, families, and staff.

This position offers ideal hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at our University Village Bright Horizons. It involves 20 hours in the kitchen and 20 hours in classrooms weekly.

Responsibilities:

• Help plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals for children and staff.
• Maintain accurate inventory and place orders as needed.
• Assist in meal prep, cleaning, and sanitation compliance.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a licensed child care center, school, or commercial kitchen is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires compliance with all health and safety regulations, including immunizations and physical screenings. Compensation:

The hourly rate ranges from $21.00 to $25.00, depending on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors.
