Job summary

New Directions Mental Health, a member of Transformations Care Network, seeks a Child & Adolescent Therapist to empower youth and families in behavioral health. You will join a collaborative clinical team that supports growth, licensure, and multidisciplinary care across local clinics.

The role emphasizes culturally sensitive assessments, individualized therapy, crisis planning, and coordinated care with psychiatrists and other professionals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Provisional license per state regulation or full licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy based on client needs.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to support stable functioning.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, and insurance authorization forms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists for holistic care.
