Job summary

Columbia Mental Health in Maryland seeks a Child & Adolescent Therapist to join our Transformations Care Network. You will deliver outpatient therapy to children and families, develop crisis and safety plans, and collaborate with a clinical team to support growth and recovery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling or related field.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Licensure eligibility or provisional license if required.
• Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, and treatment planning; manage insurance forms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other clinicians.
