Job summary

Columbia Mental Health, a member of Transformations Care Network, seeks a Child & Adolescent Therapist to join our collaborative clinical team in Maryland. You will provide outpatient individual and family therapy to children and adolescents, guided by a strengths-based, culturally sensitive approach.

We support licensure development, supervision, and a multidisciplinary work environment with psychiatrists, NPs, dietitians, and therapists.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field.
• Experience with children and families.
• Provisional license per state regulation, if required.
• Educational background leading to professional licensing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy tailored to each client.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, and insurance authorization forms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and therapists.
