Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to lead the delivery operations, supervise drivers and coordinators, and ensure DOT compliance in a fast-paced environment. You will optimize routes, manage expenses, and collaborate with the warehouse team to meet customer needs.

The role requires 4–6 years in transportation with supervisory experience; knowledge of Tripmaster/Xata is a plus, and a Bachelor's in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 4-6 Years of Transportation experience including in-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and experience with operations of computerized fleet management systems.
• Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises associates to include staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
• Oversees day-to-day administration of delivery function including managing expenses, payroll, reports, and problem resolution; uses fleet management systems like Tripmaster and Xata.
• Works closely with Warehouse Manager to maximize operation efficiency.
• Schedules truck deliveries and routing daily, manages equipment needs and maintenance, and plans backhauls.
• Ensures DOT compliance and maintains driver records and safety data.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
