Job summary

Merchants Capital seeks an SVP, Business Transformation to lead technology-enabled business evolution across all teams. You will translate market expectations into workflows, data products, and measurable outcomes, reporting to the COO.

This is a business leadership role with fluency in data, AI, and process design. You will define the Target Operating Model and KPIs to close gaps between current capabilities and industry standards, leveraging the firm’s data foundation to advance analytics,

Qualifications

8+ years leading business transformation and analytics initiatives in CRE or investment management.
Proven ability to define Target Operating Models and KPI frameworks that drive measurable outcomes.
Experience with AI, ML, or agentic workflow deployment and ROI-focused prioritization.
Strong data product mindset with dashboards, reporting packs, and third-party data familiarity.

Responsibilities

Own the business transformation agenda across MCC teams.
Define Target Operating Model, workflow decisions, and KPIs for market-grade outcomes.
Translate needs into data products, dashboards, and automation-ready processes.
Build AI-enabled opportunities and partner with Delivery/BI to implement.
Lead cross-functional change management and leadership development.
Communicate ROI and priorities to COO and senior leadership.
Develop investor-grade reporting and portfolio surveillance capabilities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
