Job summary

Virginia Tech seeks a Director of Title IX Compliance reporting to the Associate Vice President for Civil Rights Compliance and Prevention Education. This role leads all Title IX compliance efforts, oversees responses to sexual misconduct, and guides education and outreach across the campus community.

The position collaborates with campus partners on response and adjudication, provides oversight to staff, and ensures compliance with federal laws and NCAA policies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in higher education administration, human resources, student affairs, public policy, government, legal studies or a related field.
• Experience interpreting federal and state non-discrimination laws, with focus on Title IX and sexual misconduct.

Responsibilities

• Lead the university's Title IX compliance program and serving as the Title IX Coordinator.
• Oversee response, investigation, and resolution of reports of sexual misconduct.
• Collaborate with campus partners for response and adjudication and provide guidance to staff.
• Develop and deliver educational trainings for faculty, staff, and students and support pregnant/parenting students.
