Job summary

Buyers Edge Platform, through its Fresh Alliance brand, seeks a Head of Technology to lead all technical functions across a global operation that connects distributors, suppliers, and customers. You will guide software engineering, architecture, EDI, product design, and operations to deliver reliable, scalable systems that support rapid growth.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of technology experience with 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Strong foundation in software engineering and enterprise application development.
• Experience leading offshore or distributed teams and EDI integrations.
• Track record modernizing critical systems while preserving operations.

Responsibilities

• Set technology strategy for Fresh Alliance in partnership with the corporate CTO and leadership.
• Modernize core platforms and applications while maintaining daily operations.
• Keep EDI and integrations reliable and expand API connectivity.
• Drive AI adoption across engineering and business workflows.
• Own product priorities across internal and customer needs.
• Lead a distributed onshore and offshore team and manage growth.
• Oversee budget, vendor relationships, and staffing; develop leaders.
