Job summary

Fresh Alliance, a Buyers Edge Platform brand, seeks a Head of Technology to lead a 25+ person technology organization across six functions, including Software Engineering, Systems Architecture, EDI, Product Management, Application Support, and Technology Leadership. Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ years in technology with 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Strong foundation in software engineering, systems architecture, and enterprise app development.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams including offshore resources.
• Hands-on leadership of EDI and enterprise integrations.
• Track record modernizing business-critical systems while keeping them running.
• Experience leading AI-driven development and AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Set technology strategy for Fresh Alliance in partnership with CTO and division leadership.
• Lead modernization of core platforms and applications while ensuring daily operations reliability.
• Keep EDI and partner integrations dependable and expand automation and API connectivity.
• Drive AI adoption across the organization to improve operations and customer experience.
• Own product priorities across internal and customer needs to improve real workflows.
• Maintain and grow a distributed onshore and offshore team into a high-performing organization.
• Manage budget, vendor relationships, and staffing, and develop technology leaders.
