Job summary

Apex, a fast-growing aerospace company, is hiring a Head of Talent to own recruitment end-to-end. You will lead a ~10-person team, drive executive searches, and build the talent engine for the next decade. This is a leadership role focusing on strategy, systems, and long-term pipelines.

You’ll partner with executives, define the 12–24 month hiring plan, and shape recruiting maturity across the org. ITAR compliance is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in recruiting and talent acquisition, with 5+ years leading and developing teams.
• Hands-on executive and leadership search experience.
• Proven ability to run high-volume hiring (hundreds of hires per year).
• Data and people-analytics fluency, plus modern ATS and tooling.
• Executive presence. Credible with executives and boards.
• Must meet ITAR and U.S. person requirements.

Responsibilities

• Recruit exceptional talent, at speed. Build the team, systems, processes, and brand.
• Lead a high-performing recruiting team of ~10 and develop recruiters.
• Set hiring strategy with 12–24 month plans aligned to growth targets.
• Define ways of working and metrics, establish funnel dashboards.
• Personally drive executive search for senior roles; partner with executives.
• Build long-term talent partnerships with universities and trade schools.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to optimize hiring practices.
