Job summary

Uniswap Labs in New York is seeking a Head of Talent to define the long-term talent strategy and lead the recruiting function. You will partner with executives to hire engineers, designers and operators who will build the next wave of products.

You will own workforce planning, set hiring standards, and build proactive pipelines across engineering, product and design while ensuring a fast, respectful candidate experience. This is a hands-on leadership role based in SoHo.

Qualifications

• 10+ years recruiting experience, incl. 3+ years leading recruiting teams in tech.
• Track record of building and scaling a recruiting function.
• Experience hiring senior engineering, product, design, and business talent in competitive markets.
• Experience with long-term workforce planning, org design and talent strategy, working with leadership.
• Strong judgment advising leaders on hiring strategy, role design, leveling and compensation.
• Experience supporting internal talent development alongside recruiting.
• Comfort with data: setting metrics and adapting processes.
• Hands-on with ATS and recruiting tools; able to improve our stack.
• Clear, direct communicator who builds trust with candidates and teams.
• Able to work from our SoHo, New York office.

Responsibilities

• Own Uniswap Labs' long-term talent strategy and workforce plan, working with the executive team on priorities, headcount, org design and timing.
• Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on role scoping, leveling and compensation.
• Build, mentor, and scale the recruiting team, from in-house recruiters and coordinators.
• Stay close to the work: take on key searches yourself, including senior roles.
• Build proactive pipelines through sourcing, talent mapping and relationships across engineering, product, design.
• Run a candidate experience that is fast, clear and respectful, from first call through offer.
• Own recruiting operations: our ATS and tooling, interview process, interviewer training and scheduling.
• Track pipeline, speed, quality and cost, and use the data to improve how we hire.
• Work with other team leads on leveling, compensation, onboarding and a smooth first day for every new hire.
