Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a senior Infrastructure Production Support professional to maintain storage, backup, and VMware-based infrastructure across large enterprise environments.

You will collaborate with L2/L3 teams, application owners, vendors, and security partners to ensure high availability and compliance. Responsibilities include incident response, change execution, service request fulfillment, and automation opportunities.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in supporting, maintaining, or servicing infrastructure technologies (storage, backup, virtualization, server, data center).
• Three+ years in a production data center or enterprise operations environment.
• Experience handling incidents, tasks, requests, and changes in ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with documented procedures, security standards, and audit/compliance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day production support for storage, backup, and virtual infrastructure platforms.
• Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve incidents, alerts, and performance issues across infrastructure services.
• Execute approved changes per procedures, risk controls, and change management requirements.
• Fulfill ServiceNow catalog requests and operational tasks for storage, backup, and virtualization services.
• Perform health checks, log reviews, backup validation, capacity review, and service-impact analysis.
