Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced infrastructure specialist to support storage, backup, and virtual infrastructure platforms across a large enterprise. The role emphasizes incident response, change execution, monitoring, and collaboration across technical teams and vendors.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VMware, SAN/NAS storage, and data center operations, plus ServiceNow and automation knowledge. On‑site work is required in a 24/7 support model.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience supporting, maintaining, or servicing infrastructure technologies.
• Three or more years in a production data center or enterprise operations environment.
• Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow and following documented procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day production support for enterprise storage, backup, and virtual infrastructure platforms.
• Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve incidents, alerts, and performance issues across infrastructure services.
• Execute approved changes in line with procedures, risk controls, and maintenance windows.
• Fulfill ServiceNow catalog requests and operational tasks for storage, backup, and virtual infrastructure services.
• Perform health checks, log reviews, backup validation, capacity reviews, and service‑impact analysis.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware break/fix, remote troubleshooting, and service restoration.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, application owners, vendors, and security to resolve issues and complete work.
• Identify opportunities to automate repeatable tasks and improve documentation and reporting.
