Job summary

ReMA is seeking a Vice President, Safety to lead the organization’s safety vision and programs. The role directs safety staff, develops tools and trainings, and partners with members and OSHA to advance industry safety.

You will shape initiatives, and ensure consistent safety messaging across chapters and sectors. The successful candidate will bring seven+ years in safety leadership, exceptional communication, and the ability to mentor teams and manage high-impact programs in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum seven years of safety leadership experience.
• Proven ability to mentor and lead teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication with public speaking ability.
• Ability to develop and implement safety programs and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Safety staff and set department goals.
• Direct development of tools, programs, and training for safer workplaces.
• Serve as the safety voice for the association and liaise with OSHA.
• Identify and implement safety programs and best practices for operations.
• Collaborate with members to standardize safety workflows and communications.
• Coordinate with accreditation bodies and auditors as needed.
• Ensure consistency of safety messaging across sectors and regions.
• Deliver safety guidance through virtual platforms, seminars, and materials.
