Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, accounting, or related field.
• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in public finance or tax administration; leadership/management role.
• Familiar with Federal, State, and County tax laws and enforcement procedures.
• Familiar with enterprise resource management systems, particularly assessment and collections.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate assessment, billing, collection, analysis, and reconciliation of local tax revenues.
• Manage complex tax accounts in coordination with County Attorney’s Office.
• Oversee Real Estate Tax Relief Program for Elderly and Disabled residents.
• Develop and implement policies for revenue administration, tax compliance, and customer service.
• Prepare and manage the Office of Revenue Administration's annual budget.
• Analyze legislation/tax laws and advise on local code revisions.
• Direct tax audit activities using risk analysis to ensure compliance.
• Oversee delinquent tax collections across all local tax categories.
• Develop revenue projections for budget planning and approval.
• Represent County before State agencies and professional associations.
